EGR says Paysafe is still the industry’s best online casino payment option supplier.
Does the name Paysafe ring a bell? Perhaps not. Paysafe Group Limited is a massive, global online payment system company. But it’s best known by the name of some of its most successful products; Neteller, Skrill, PaysafeCard, and Income Access. Those names are much more likely to grab your attention—especially if you’re a member of the world’s vast internet gambling community.
For many years, Paysafe—formerly Optimal Payments—has been a top-teir provider of payment solutions. Several of its products have been named among the best deposit methods for online casinos, poker sites, bingo, sports betting, etc.
According to eGaming Review Magazine‘s EGR North America Awards, Paysafe is still on top of the market. The company has been performing so well over the last 12 months, its superior products were worthy of not one, but two awards.
Paysafe still the Best Online Casino Payment Option
Paysafe was founded in 1996 as Netbanx, and rebranded Optimal Payments the following year. The company launched Neteller, one of the first online payment processors to serve the iGaming sector, in 1999. For more than half a decade, Neteller was the number one payment choice for online gamblers all over the world.
Paysafe has continued to produce stellar payment solutions along the way, winning awards year after year. This past weekend, the EGR North America Awards were held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, where the Paysafe Group took home a pair of admirable trophies.
Paysafe collected the most coveted award in its class, named Payments Company of the Year. That award goes to the payment solutions provider that displays the highest quality service in terms of technology and performance. This is the second time the firm received this award since the inaugural EGR North America Awards four years ago. They received the same honors in 2015.
The company also claimed the title of Acquisition & Retention Partner of the Year. This award is not restricted to payment processors, but rather any company that excels as a marketing partner to online gaming operations. It was little surprise that Paysafe snagged this one, having held the same title for the last four years running.
Humble Provider of Best Deposit Methods for Online Casinos
Despite having won so many of these awards from EGR North America, their executive staff remains humble in their acceptance of each new trophy. Neil Erlick, EVP of Business Development for Paysafe, commented on their latest accolades.
