Microgaming welcomes American Slots from Gameburger

Microgaming inks exclusivity contract with all new Gameburger Studios.Microgaming adds Gameburger Studios to list of Exclusive Content Providers

Earlier this week, Microgaming hailed the launch of Relic Seekers, a new fantasy adventure online slot machine from their exclusive content partners at Pulse 8 Studios. What sets that digital gaming lab apart from many of their others partners is its predilection and aptitude for building Asian themed games.

Why this seemingly irrelevant detail stands out so much to me is that just one day later, Microgaming was lauding a new exclusivity contract with a very different kind of iGaming software company, Gameburger Studios. This latest partner is a perfect parallel, with a team that focuses its energy primarily on the development of distinctly American slots games.

With diversity and rapid expansion being prominent goals for the owners of the Quickfire portfolio, I’d say Microgaming is doing a rather fantastic job lately. In fact, I think they’d got this business figured out better than anyone. The Isle of Man-based company now has so many exclusivity contracts, they don’t really have to do much of anything. New games are constantly flowing onto the platform, while they sit back and enjoy the fruits of their many partnerships.

And why shouldn’t Microgaming be so lucky? It is, after all, the oldest brand in the iGaming software industry, with roots dating back 25 years to 1994. It’s almost as if the company has retired, leaving the physical labor to their descendants, while continuing to reap the rewards of their past relentless performance. But I digress…

Microgmaing Welcomes Gameburger Studios

What’s in a name? A whole heck of a lot, if you ask these guys and gals. First of all, there’s nothing more American than a good old fashioned hamburger, piled high with all the fix’ns. This alone broadcasts Gameburger’s intention to bring American-style slot machines to non-American customers around the world.

Secondly, the company’s leaders believe the one thing the iGaming industry needs more than anything right now is more fuel to ignite the flame of technical innovation, and in their own words, “there’s nothing more fueling than a great burger!”

The Gameburger Studios website describes a unique vision for the future of digital gambling.

Our collective of industry specialists and technology experts relish serving up mouth-watering content in the classic US style: Big, bold and full of flavor. Made from the best ingredients and a tried-and-true land-based recipe, our vibrant games deliver a range of styles and complexities, enhanced visuals and sounds, and all-new gameplay features and bonus rounds.”

Microgmaing CEO John Coleman was eager to share his company’s excitement over the latest addition to their portfolio of exclusive content providers. “We are thrilled to welcome Gameburger to our global network of independent game development studios,” he said “The team’s experience and personality, coupled with their relentless drive to innovate, will serve us in good stead as we continue to supply the market with unique, feature-packed content.”

Gameburger to Renew Famous Series

Break Da Bank Again Respin by Microgaming partner Gameburger StudiosMatt Carvajal heads up the Creative Design team at Gameburger, where they’re putting the finishing touches on their first launch, due for release at Microgaming casinos next week. You may recognize the series name in its title, Break Da Bank Again Respin. It is the fourth edition to a now 11-year-old series, following the original 3-reel Break Da Bank, and the 5-reel Break Da Bank Again, and Mega Spins Break Da Bank Again.

Carvajal promises “Break da Bank Again Respin offers fans and new players all the key ingredients of the original game, combined with the popular Respin feature and elevated with vivid artwork, sounds and higher RTP.”

Break Da Bank Again Respin will have 5 reels, 9 paylines, and an elevated RTP of 96.58%, as opposed to the previous 95.43% in all previous editions.

According to their website, the second title on the roster for Gameburger Studios will be a mysterious title called 9 Masks of Fire. No word yet on a timeline for that game’s impending release.
