Online Casino Cheats and Hacks: Why it’s never worth it (so don’t try it!)
For the average person, it’s true when they say you can’t cheat at online casinos. You have no access to the cards, chips or machines. You can’t slip a chip on or off the table. You can’t rig some sophisticated device to the slot machines. The virtual realm doesn’t allow it. For the average person…
Being a software-based platform, there’s always the possibility of using a special program or even hacking the system. In fact, some hackers claim to have successfully built software programs for this very purpose. But I assure you, it’s not something you want to get involved with.
Online Casino Cheats and Hacks – It’s NOT Worth It!
I can give you a whole list of reasons why you don’t want to attempts hacking online casinos. Instead, I’ll just give you the two most important reasons.
1. It’s illegal!
2. Do you really want to trust a hacker?
Just like in the terrestrial gambling realm, cheating at online casinos is 100% illegal. If you get caught, they won’t just close your account and seize your funds. They’re going to get law enforcement involved. You’re going to get in a world of trouble, and it will go on your permanent record. This applies whether your attempt was successful or not. Just trying to hack online casinos will get you a nice cozy cell with a view of metal bars, and a lovely new roommate with a name like Tiny or Marge.
Here in Canada, you’re looking at up to 2 years jail time, plus a heaping pile of fines and court fees. Section 209 of the Criminal Code reads:
Cheating at play
209 Every one who, with intent to defraud any person, cheats while playing a game or in holding the stakes for a game or in betting is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years.
If you don’t think you’ll get caught—that you’ll be able to cover your tracks or hide your true identity—ask yourself this. Who is going to have the better security and surveillance technology, you or a wealthy online casino?
Assuming you’re not already a super-hacker capable of building this software on your own, you’ll have to go through a hacker to get your hands on this kind of software. Go ahead and try searching for it online; you’ll find plenty of shady websites claiming to offer such software. But this means you have to put your trust in a hacker. Is that something you’re prepared to do?
If there’s one thing the creators of duplicitous software are famous for, it’s embedding viruses, trojans and other malware into their programs. That means that, when you download and install the software that will supposedly help you beat an online casino—which you’ll probably have to pay for, by the way—you’re inviting hackers to enjoy all the information on your computer; your personal information, financial information, email, logins, passwords… everything!
Still want to trust a hacker for a slim-to-none chance of downloading effective online casino cheats and hacks? And risk going to prison for it? I didn’t think so. And that’s why you can’t cheat online casinos.
