3 New VR Slots Games we’d All Love to Play

Three VR slots games that would undoubtedly be major hits if developers created them.

Ideas for New VR Slots GamesImagine you were part of the creative design team atone of today’s major gambling software companies. Coming up with new game ideas can’t be an easy job, especially when thousands of ideas have already been utilized, some in arguable over-abundance.

I’d be willing to bet each of you could come up with some type of slots game that you’re certain would be a huge hit. Maybe it would – maybe it wouldn’t. But I’d also be willing to bet the following three themes, if developed as new skill-based VR slots games, would do amazingly well.

Guitar Hero VR Slots Game

The producers of Guitar Hero found a cash cow in the VR gaming world. There have been so many Guitar Hero games and expansions released since 2005, with one for every video game console on the market. The majority were enormously successful.

If a Guitar Hero VR Slots game were to hit the market—one that utilizes instruments, just like the video game version—it could draw millennials like flies to honey. Players would pay a base fee depending on the difficulty of the song they choose, and win credits based on how well they perform, and the mood of the audience.

Grand Theft Auto VR Slots Game

Another smashing success for PC and video game consoles has been the Grand Theft Auto series. There’s something to be said for taking out life’s aggressions by doing all the ‘wrong‘ things in life in the safety of a virtual realm.

If a Grand Theft Auto VR Slots game were available, just imagine the possibilities. Play long enough in a single session, and you could level up your weapons, armor, health, etc. And as for the actual game play, it could come with various challenges, different levels of difficulty, and a scaling cost of play.

One stage could be escaping the mob, or hitting a home run with a new girl. In another, you may have to rob a bank and survive the onslaught of police backlash. Do you choose difficult mode and hope to survive the S.W.A.T.? Or do you take on the easier, stealth mode challenge and evade local police in a high speed chase?

NFL VR Slots Game

In North America especially, Madden NFL has drawn players to their gaming consoles year after year. I couldn’t imagine an entire football game playing out in a VR slots game. But playing a successful set of downs could definitely work.

Your team has the ball. You have four downs to score a touchdown, kick a field goal, punt to the other team or—worst of all—turn the ball over. A touchdown would be optimum, guaranteeing a win. It would pay higher based on the number of plays it takes to do it. A field goal could be a break-even play, returning the players original bet. A turn over would be complete loss. Punting on 4th could be the equivalent of late surrender in blackjack, losing only half the bet.

There’s clearly a future in virtual reality. As a result, VR slots games that require some level of skill to win have unfathomable much potential. I for one would love to see these three VR slots games, and many more, hit the market.
