Index of iGaming Ontario Sportsbooks – Legal, Licensed, Ready for Action
If you’re like most Ontarians, you have a passion for sports. Maybe it’s hockey you can’t live without, or maybe football, soccer, baseball, basketball – a little bit of everything perhaps? Whatever sport(s) gets you up in the morning and glued to the TV by nightfall, you’ll be glad to know the province of Ontario has made every effort to give us a safe, secure, legitimate way to place online wagers on it.
If that sounds appealing, we ask that you bookmark this page. We provide a complete list of current iGO-licensed sportsbooks with important details about each operator. We also update this list on a very regular basis; a crucial factor since the regulator is constantly approving new sportsbook licensees.
Complete List of iGaming Ontario Sportsbooks
The following is a complete index of all active licensees in the sportsbook category. This information comes directly from the official website of iGaming Ontario (iGO). However, our list is a little different from theirs. First of all, it includes only sportsbook licensees, whereas iGO’s list details operators of sports, casino, poker, etc. Secondly, we provide a lot more details about each operator. These include things like parent company, launch date, and a list of all sports available for wagering.
We will continually update the index as more sportsbooks achieve regulatory status.

Online Sports Betting Ontario – The Road to Regulation
It all started when the federal government gave provinces the right to regulate single-event sports betting. Ontario knew its sports fans were already placing these bets online; that the only way to really attract bettors to the safety of a locally-regulated market was to provide them with a wide range of online products.
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), in tandem with provincial leaders, set to work. They developed rules, procedures and security measures, forming the local licensing body, iGaming Ontario (iGO). Private online gambling companies from all over the world were invited to apply for an iGO license. Many applications were received. Only the most prestigious, with substantial backing and squeaky-clean records, were approved.
On April 4, 2022, Ontario’s internet gambling market went live. Among the first 18 iGaming operations to launch that day were 13 sports betting sites. That number has been growing steadily ever since. To date, that number has doubled to 26 iGaming Ontario sportsbooks. The overall number of Ontario Licensed Gambling Sites, including casinos, poker, and bingo operators, now stands at more than 75.
