Evolution Launches Live Side Bet City

Side Bet City live casino poker game new from Evolution.

Side Bet City Live Casino Poker Game New from EvolutionEvolution Gaming is at it again, expanding its world-leading live casino platform with yet another innovative new way to place a wager. They call it Live Side Bet City, and it’s based on your typical poker hand rankings, while making space for an unlimited number of players to join in.

Instead of playing your own poker hand against other players or the casino, the dealer will set one hand of 7 cards face up on the table. Your job is to place a bet on the strength of those cards – the first three, the first five, and/or all seven. Or, the more pessimistic among you can bet against them all! Oh, and did I mention it’s set in the fabulously neon 1980s?

Evolution Gaming built an all new studio segment where the tables and background are all lit up in hot pink and neon blue. Their dealer’s flash back in time with flamboyant 80’s attire. Even the setting takes on an old-school feel, with full-size boom-box stereos and other thematic memorabilia in the backdrop.

As for the game, it’s a simple one. Before each new hand is dealt, players have the option to bet on one or more of the following:

– 3-Card Poker Hand
– 5-Card Poker Hand
– 7-Card Poker Hand
– All Lose

Live Side Bet City Poker HandsThe basic idea is to bet on a hand that you think will be strong enough to instigate a payout – or the All Lose option, meaning no hand is worthy of a payout.

Once betting closes, the dealer will place 7 cards face up. There’s a palpable separation between the first three cards, the next two cards, and the final two cards. This makes it easy to tell which cards belong to which hands. The first three make up the 3-card hand. Those 3 combined with the next 2 form the 5-card hand. All of those combined with the final two cards constitute the 7-card hand.

Side Bet City Pay Table

The Side Bet City pay table is based on your typical poker hand ranks. The better the hand, the more it is worth. However, since a 5-card hand is less likely to become a high-ranking poker hand than a 7-card hand, the payouts for those are higher. And, of course, a 3-card hand can only achieve so many ranking combinations.

The payouts for Side Bet City are as follows:
