NetEnt’s 100-line Archangels Salvation Slot packs a punch with 6×12 reels.
There’s a new NetEnt slot on the iGaming market, and it’s got avid slots fans reeling with delight. It’s called Archangels: Salvation, and it packs a reel punch with 100 paylines and multiple features, including a pair of wild-induced Hot Spots.
This is the first online slots game in NetEnt’s extensive history to deliver 100 betways. To give it an innovative twist, they built Archangels Salvation on a vast, 6×12 reel grid, infused with beautifully rendered graphics that depict the legendary battle between Good and Evil.

This new NetEnt slot game has a large, 6×12 reelset with 100 fixed paylines and a bet range of $0.40 up to $200 per spin. Its 96.08% RTP occurs with medium volatility, so the wins tend to come just often enough, and sizable enough, to sustain a moderate bankroll for some time.
The game’s symbols are unique, being either blue and gold, or grey and red, denoting which side they support – Heaven or Hell. There are two wild symbols that can appear; a standard, single-position wild and a square 2×2 wild that takes up a total of four positions. Both serve the same purpose of replacing any other necessary symbol (except scatters) to creating winning combinations.
There are two Hot Spots in the game as well. One covers the top two rows of reels, and the other the bottom two rows. If a 2×2 wild appears within either hot spot, it triggers the Heaven or Hell feature (top being Heaven, bottom being Hell).
When the Heaven feature triggers, if the 2×2 wild is fully within the hot spot, it creates 4 stacks of wilds. If it’s only partially within the hot spot, 3 stacks of wilds appear. When the Hell feature triggers, single wilds will appear in random positions on the reels. If the 2×2 wild that triggered it is partially in the hot spot, 8 wilds appear. If it’s fully in the hot spot, 16 single wilds appear. Once all wilds take their place, all winning combinations – hopefully a large amount – are paid.
The Heaven/Hell features can reactivate if a 2×2 wild or single wild appears in the hot spot position again. Each wild in the hot spot area will generate either 1 stack of wilds (Heaven) or 4 single wilds (Hell).
The stacked S symbol is the scatter, and will trigger Free Spins whenever 3 or more appear on the reels. Players are awarded 10, 15, 20, or 25 free spins for landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters. The scatters must appear in full to trigger free spins, since they are stacked 2-high. During Free Spins, the hot spots expand to cover three rows each, increasing the odds of triggering the Heaven and Hell features.
